Born and raised in California, with West Coast roots that still run deep, Katie Rose Thorne found her people somewhere between the Pacific and the Atlantic. She brings sunshine with her wherever she goes — despite the notoriously wet South West climate.

 

A photographer, designer and marketing consultant based in the South-West UK, she works with independent businesses, wellness brands and outdoor adventure communities, bringing together branding, content and visual storytelling to make work that feels genuinely human.

Her photography captures movement, connection and atmosphere, rooted in coastal living, cold water swimming and outdoor culture.

 

She also teaches yoga, and finds the same thread running through all of it — people, place and presence.
